Family Testimonials

"Both my husband and I lost our jobs and my family was evicted from our home. My son's case manager told me about Autism Cares. I was able to use the money to pay two months rent. We were so blessed by Autism Cares. Thank you for your help!" - Mrs. BJ

"I am so thankful for the blessing Autism Cares has sent us. Being able to catch up on mortgage payments prevented our home from being foreclosed on. Thank you so much!"

"I can't begin to tell you how much the support from Autism Cares has helped us. Thank you again for getting the checks to us so quickly. God Bless You!" - The O Family

"I wanted to send a note of thanks for giving us much needed help through Autism Cares. It hardly seems enough. The money you sent is going to help us more than you can imagine. We so appreciate Autism Cares and your ability to help those with autism and their families." - LA

"Thank you so much to Autism Cares for the grant which helped get our car repaired. The check arrived and our car will be ready today. We are so grateful!" - AW Family

AutismCares gave me help when I needed it by providing support for childcare and vocational help so I can provide for my family. I got an “A” on the course and I got a part-time job in the Plymouth Public Schools as a paraprofessional in their Kindergarten class. My goal is to have my dual certification in Early Childhood/Special Needs by the spring. I couldn't have done it without the help of AutismCares and of many others.”

“I have two small children with autism and can’t work full-time while I take care of them. Our house has been turned into a seven-day a week circus, with service providers coming in and out, so our children can have the brightest future possible. Because of AutismCares our home was rescued from foreclosure. Our electricity was in danger of being shut off, and we had no way of paying the huge bill that had accumulated over the months of not being able to pay it. AutismCares helped us with that as well. The stress and worry was almost too much to handle. I cannot even begin to tell you how I felt when I received the phone call letting us know we were going to be receiving an AutismCares grant. You cannot imagine how much we appreciate your help. We are so very grateful to you. Thank you so much.”

“I would like to thank AutismCares in helping us with our family while we are in financial need. AutismCares helped us save our home of 15 years. This is not just a house, but it is a safe place for all five of our children, especially for Hannah, 11, who has autism. She is an escape expert and a runner and our home has unique modifications for the challenges she gives us, that would have been so difficult to replace. Words cannot describe what the AutismCares grant means to us. Thanks to everyone.”

"By the time I found out about the support AutismCares provides and contacted them, our house was in foreclosure and scheduled to be sold at the Master Commissioner’s sale. The grant we received from AutismCares allowed us to get our house back. We were able to pay off what was past due on our mortgage, and now we have a little room to breathe. Most importantly, we can continue to live in the home that we have had for the last 13 years.”

“Thank you, Autism Cares! We are in the middle of Tropical Storm Faye and our power has just been restored! Helping with our house payment has taken some of the stress off our family. God Bless you!”
